          Licensed Clinical Social Worker

How we make sense of events in our lives and deal with life's challenges are important for all of us. Transracial adoption adds a layer of complexity. For 30+ years, I have had the privilege of working with and learning from families formed through adoption. I recognize that issues of loss, trauma, attachment, identity, racism, culture and difficult/unknown early history have particular significance. At The Cradle Center for Lifelong Support, I work with all members of the adoption circle. My approach and training are attachment focused and trauma-informed. I am a registered Circle of Security® Parent Educator and TBRI® Practitioner. I have particular interest in supporting adoptee voices and helping parents find effective ways of understanding, communicating and connecting with their children, teens and young adult children.
