CAATCH MEMBERSHIP

 

 

Professional Membership is for people with a master’s or doctorate degree in psychology, mental health, health, or related fields and/or professionals whose work and interests are consistent with the purposes of CAATCH.

Membership is $45/year. Your annual membership fees will go toward the maintenance and development of our website and any other necessary supplies needed for events CAATCH participates in within the community.

The Student Membership is for undergraduate or graduate students in psychology, counseling, mental health, or related fields.

Membership is $25/year and is used for the maintenance and development of our website and any other necessary supplies needed for events CAATCH participates in within the community.

Referrals and Member Search

CAATCH members can search the member directory for specific members or to find members near a given city for a therapy referral. Types of service, types of practitioners, and language spoken by the provider can all be searched.

Learning and Discussion Forums

Our community offers access to other Asian American practitioners active in serving and working throughout Chicagoland. Membership gives you access to these individuals and a community of other like-minded professionals committed to reaching the underserved Asian American population. We meet quarterly to discuss, network and consult with each other around mental health issues within the Asian American population. Networking and marketing opportunities are also available as we increase interaction and work within the community.

Mentorship opportunities

Student and early career professional members are introduced to other more experienced CAATCH members who can give feedback on their clinical work and professional development.

If you would like to join CAATCH, please answer the following questions using the box below.

1. Briefly describe your interest in working with the Asian American community.

2. Please give a short description of your career history and the work you currently do. If you are a student or in training, please give us a short history of your education and current training experience.

3. Have you ever had any action or discipline by another licensing body or professional organization? If yes, please state the nature of the action/discipline involved.

4. Please indicate a few dates and times you have available for a brief 30-minute interview/orientation this week or next.

Please do not pay for membership prior to having the 30-minute virtual meeting.

CAATCH reserves the right to terminate membership to a member if they fail to cooperate in resolution of a complaint that is made known within the network. We also require transparency regarding any action or discipline by other professional organizations or licensing bodies.
