        • Jeanette Lee, JD, LCSW

Juris Doctor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Jeanette Lee specializes in working with individuals and families in distress, and is committed to bringing compassion and skill to every session. Jeanette’s experience includes treating self-harming behaviors, depression, anxiety, progressive illness, interpersonal conflict, trauma, intercultural/generational challenges, and adjustment difficulties.

Jeanette practices most often from integrated Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy perspectives, but also draws on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, family systems, and psychodynamic principles. Jeanette connects with clients across the lifespan, from young children to older adults. Jeanette believes that families and communities are important to sustaining progress, and helps clients to appropriately strengthen their relational ties as they pursue therapy.

Jeanette is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and received her MSW from the University of Chicago. Outside of therapy, Jeanette is involved in research on Asian American parenting styles, Asian American adolescent mental health, and degenerative illness among older adults. Jeanette completed a post-Master's fellowship in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
