A therapist doesn’t just become a therapist immediately. But often, the personal experiences and encounters with struggling mental health solidifies the decision of becoming a therapist. From an early age, I witnessed the profound impact that mental health challenges can have on individuals and their loved ones. The need for compassionate support and guidance during these times of distress gave me a strong calling to contribute to the field of mental health. This calling led me to pursue education and training in social work and counseling at the University of Chicago, equipping myself with theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and life experiences to help people explore their own emotions, gain insight, and develop the necessary skills to navigate life’s challenges.
Therapy is an incredible tool for those who seek healing and happiness. As a therapist, I am committed to providing individual therapy to those who are ready to face their challenges. I believe if we put a persistent effort towards growth, progress will be made.
If you are struggling to find joy and happiness for yourself, come to a space where you can come as you are. You are welcome here.
