Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
I believe in the power and influence that relationships have in shaping who we are and our stories. Therefore, I work from a relational, systemic, and family of origin oriented approach where I seek to understand the multi-storied and intersectional context of my client's life. My passion is to promote flourishing and healing in the Asian-American community that is constantly navigating the difficulties of preserving and adapting culture. My hope is to be a source of bridge-bridging across generations and encourage both mental health and relational health. I identify as Japanese-Taiwanese-American and come from a 4th generation immigrant family and a 1st generation immigrant family. I am in a biracial marriage, and my wife and I have lived across the U.S. and overseas in addition to living in Chicago for the past three years. I'm excited to be a part of the CAATCH community.
