    Intern

I am currently pursuing my Ed.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Loyola University Chicago and earned my B.A. in psychology at Boston University. At BU, I was active in growing the gaming community and completed research on the relationship between video games and mental health. I am particularly interested in understanding the relationship between culture and identity formation, and my clinical interests include identity exploration, cultural advocacy, and supporting the internet generation.

I practice primarly from a client-centered lens and work collaboratively to explore and understand the multitude of ways people experience the world. I believe that individuals know themselves best and have the capacity to create the change they want to see. It is my job to create a safe space to for the individual to gain clarity, brainstorm solutions, and explore their interactions with themselves and others.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my two cats, Bilbao and Cordoba, playing volleyball, and gaming with friends.

I can be contacted via email or phone at ding@cca-cct.com - (773) 281-7200 ext. #2."
