    Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor

    broken image

Growing up in an immigrant family, I saw firsthand how tricky it can be to handle conflicts and communicate effectively without causing strain in relationships. I learned to avoid difficult conversations to keep the peace, but this made me realize how crucial it is to communicate openly and honestly. This realization guided my academic and professional journey, leading me to earn a Sociology degree and Social Work minor from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana in 2015, and a Master's in Clinical Counseling and Psychotherapy from The Institute for Clinical Social Work in 2019. My journey from youth program development to adult therapy has shaped my specialization in couples counseling. This experience inspired me to start my own practice, Self Compassion Counseling, where I now focus on supporting individuals and couples.

In a fast-paced world, I provide a space for reflection and emphasize the importance of boundaries and trust. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental environment where you can express yourself freely, knowing that your voice matters. I offer culturally sensitive support to help you improve your relationships, regulate emotions, and create the life you desire. I work with kindhearted individuals who often prioritize others, helping them break unhealthy patterns that lead to stress and anxiety.

I am located in Forest Park, IL and provide online therapy for those in Illinois.
