    Licensed Clinical Social Worker

As a first-generation Asian immigrant myself, I dedicate my practice to Asian, bi/multicultural individuals, immigrants, LGBTQIA+, and other marginalized communities. I am passionate about working with people from different cultural backgrounds, exploring how complex identities and unique personal experiences have shaped us into who we are. I have extensive experience of working with individuals from bi/multi racial/ethnical backgrounds, various sexual orientations, immigration statuses, gender presentations, and socio-economic statuses.

A special area of expertise of mine is working with individuals to discover inner strength, create healthy relationships and reconcile cultural/inter-generational conflicts. I specialize in working with individuals to address anxiety, depression, complex trauma, relationship issues, pregnancy/prenatal/postpartum issues, stress, anger, cultural identity, family conflict, grief, self-esteem, life transitions and other areas of concern.

I utilize a wide range of therapy approaches including DBT, ACT, CBT, Somatic, Sensorimotor, Psychodynamic, Neuroscience-informed, Strength-based, Solution-focused, Trauma-focused, Culturally-sensitive, and other therapy approaches.

I understand how challenging it can be to articulate and reconcile multiple cultural identities. I take cultural systems and unique personal experiences into consideration while focusing on personal growth. I love using a causal and relational approach to help people process their experiences and rediscover their self-confidence and self-compassion. Being a new mother myself, I strive to support parents through their pregnancy, prenatal and postpartum journey.
