  • Eugene Kim, LSW

    Licensed Social Worker

    broken image

Eugene helps clients navigate their addictions by integrating Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) into his practice. Using IFS, Eugene guides clients in exploring the different parts of themselves, helping them understand the internal conflicts and emotional triggers that may drive addictive behaviors. With DBT, he provides practical skills in emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and mindfulness to empower clients to manage cravings and self-destructive patterns. By combining these approaches, Eugene supports clients in creating a healthier relationship with themselves, fostering self-compassion, and building resilience as they work toward recovery.

Eugene is dedicated to helping those who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about their next steps. With a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Chicago, Eugene specializes in working with individuals facing challenges in their relationships, struggling with depression, anxiety, and those dealing with addictions. He provides a supportive and empathetic space to explore what’s holding clients back, tailoring his approach to meet their unique needs. Eugene is committed to helping clients find clarity, break through barriers, and achieve personal growth, so they can move forward with confidence and purpose.
